Handmade Cold-Process Bar Soap

A softer, richer counterpart to Salt Flat — this bar leans into moisture instead of minerals. A blend of olive oil, shea butter, avocado oil, and jojoba creates a conditioning, buttery lather, while castor oil helps build a stable, creamy bubble structure. Sodium lactate and a touch of sugar work behind the scenes to harden the bar and boost lather, so it performs as well as it feels. Utah clay and red iron oxide give the bar its warm, sun-baked color — closer to canyon rock than dye.

The scent is soft and floral-forward: ho wood and geranium sit at the heart, with lavender rounding out the middle and a bright hit of sweet orange up top, grounded by a whisper of cedarwood underneath. Where Salt Flat reads dry and mineral, Desert Oasis reads warm, green, and a little citrusy — like shade after sun.

What's in it for you

  • Shea butter & avocado oil for a deeply conditioning, moisturizing wash

  • Olive oil as the base for a gentle, skin-loving lather

  • Jojoba oil to help mimic skin's natural oils

  • Castor oil for a fuller, creamier bubble

  • Utah clay for natural color and a light mineral touch

  • Ho wood, geranium, lavender, sweet orange & cedarwood for a soft floral-citrus scent

Ingredients: Sodium Hydroxide (saponified), Distilled Water, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Sodium Lactate, Sucrose (Sugar), Cinnamomum Camphora Linalooliferum (Ho Wood) Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil, Cedrus Atlantica (Cedarwood) Oil, Iron Oxide, Utah Clay

How to use: Lather onto wet skin and rinse. This is a softer, more conditioning bar than Salt Flat — expect a creamier lather and a bar best stored on a well-draining dish between uses.
